Call For Research Finance

STATE Science and Medical Research Minister Tony Stewart is supporting the Hunter Medical Research Institute's push for $35 million in federal funding for a new clinical research and development building.
NSW has already contributed $17 million and the Federal Government $10 million.Mr Stewart said in Newcastle this week that he would help in seeking more federal funding for the building, which would bring researchers from the institute and Newcastle University under one roof at John Hunter Hospital.
